Turkey’s aviation market develops continuously, and the legislation aims to comply with international conventions and EU regulations. The undertaken work ranges from casualties and personal injury to cargo claims and passenger rights to regulatory advice.
Feyzi Erçin leads the aviation team and has an extensive experience on the local handling of major aviation accidents. On behalf of London insurers, he was handling the Turkish Airlines total loss in 2003 and is continuing to handle the major 2007 Atlas Jet crash. In addition, he is instructed in respect of various helicopter and general aviation accidents. Class actions, claims for material and moral damages, actuarial calculations, local investigation of aircraft accidents are all part of his experience. Feyzi Erçin also handles various claims in an extended range of subjects such as denied boarding, bird strike, jet blast and chartering disputes.
