Sinan Şenol


Sinan Şenol has become a partner in 2012 after having worked as an associate since the firm’s foundation in 2006. He graduated from the Istanbul University Law Faculty in 2004 and was admitted to the Istanbul Bar in 2005. 
Sinan has a broad experience in ship sale and ship finance. He represents local and international banks, leasing companies and other financial institutions on a regular basis in contract drafting, registration works and litigation. In line with the major growth in the Turkish yachting sector over the recent years, he is also specialised in yacht building, finance and management matters. He advises owners, builders, financiers and management companies in the sector.
Sinan has also been heavily involved in shipping, including dry and wet shipping work. He provides legal assistance to P&I Clubs, owners and cargo interests in charter party and bills of lading disputes. Sinan was also instructed in salvage cases by German and Russian H&M Underwriters. Advising on logistics services form an important part of Sinan’s experience. He represents a major Danish freight forwarder both on contentious and non-contentious basis.
He is receiving instructions from insurance companies related to construction and fire risks and also advises insurers in road carrier’s liability cases.  Sinan has a growing commercial disputes practice, with an emphasis on banking transactions including letter of credit and derivatives disputes. He also acts for foreign and local clients in matters arising from international sale and purchase contracts, as well as other contractual disputes in agency, supply and financial leasing arrangements. 
Sinan was praised to “‘provide sound advice in a timely fashion” in 2015 edition of the Legal 500. Sinan speaks German and English.
